WorldViews Consulting http://worldviewsconsulting.org Culture of Sustainability through Education & Community Mon, 22 Jun 2009 17:31:43 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.1 en hourly 1 Working Group: Resources http://worldviewsconsulting.org/?p=49 http://worldviewsconsulting.org/?p=49#comments Mon, 22 Jun 2009 17:31:43 +0000 admin http://worldviewsconsulting.org/?p=49 Here are a number of resources created by members of the Working Group on Museums and Sustainable Communities.  There is a General Resource Document that is a compilation of resources developed over the period of 2000 to 2007.  The “Critical Assessement Framework” (CAF) was developed by the WGMSC as a method of helping cultural organizations to develop ‘cultural indicators’ that could support the creation of effective public programs.  In 2006, Douglas Worts published an article for the Journal of Museum Education that introduced the CAF to a larger museum community – especially in the United States.  This article used a version of the CAF that had been developed in 2005.  Since Glenn Sutter and Douglas Worts updated the CAF in 2008, the updated version is provided as a separate document that can be downloaded here.
